1:34 p.m. PT – Amazon withdrew the item, telling us, âAll sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action, including potential deletion of their account. The product in question does not. is no longer available. “
Amazon sells a British line of men’s shoes, but unfortunately didn’t catch the blatantly racist description of one of the shoe colors.
The “Florence Shakespeare” line sells its leather Oxford shoes, and the Amazon listing shows you can get them in many colors, including “N ***** – brown”. As of this post … these words, uncensored, are live on Amazon.
The rest of the post reads like a normal shoe ad. The first line says, “Occasion: Whether you’re working, driving, getting married, working, or other casual lifestyles, this is a great choice to wear.” However, the rest is mixed with some terrible grammar – so, it sounds like something someone threw up like a racist gag / scam.
Still, the fact that it was uploaded to Amazon must have you wondering what the screening process looks like – as in, do human eyeballs have one last look before it’s released.
We reached out to Amazon for comment⦠so far no word in return.
