Dua Lipa has just proven that she is a master of monochrome. The “New Rules” hitmaker showed off her edgy sense of style during a photoshoot at Pier59 Studios in New York City on Sunday.

Lipa wore an oversized leather trench coat with moonlight artwork from her Future Nostalgia tour. The “Levitating” singer teamed her outerwear with black baggy pants and accessorized with dainty gold hoop earrings, a black studded handbag, little retro shades and carried a water bottle in her hand . She let her raven braids flow down her shoulders and opted for a fresh face without makeup.
As for the shoes, the musician finished her cut with a pair of black Dr. Marten boots. The classic silhouette features a premium leather upper, Doc’s DNA visible yellow stitching, fabric laces and heavy duty metal eyelets for a secure fit and a breathable textile lining allowing for a drier and more comfortable foot environment.

Lipa is known for having an edgy dress sense. She tends to stick to clothes and pieces that have a futuristic feel that aligns with her funky aesthetic. When it comes to footwear, the artist tends to lean towards bright, retro styles from Mach & Mach, Bottega Veneta and Prada. When she’s not on duty, you’ll likely surprise her with sneakers, slides and boots from Miu Miu, Balenciaga and Natasha Zinko.
The “Physical” singer has also made a name for herself in the fashion industry, having made her runway debut in a show for Italian luxury brand Versace. She has also starred in campaigns for brands like Pepe Jeans and Puma.
